Bidstag is a semi-annual event where possible members who have shown interest in joining are formally invited to enter the Phikeia process. Brothers, both active and alumni, greet the new potentials by taking them out for dinner, which is planned by the Rush Chairman. As this is a formal event, a suit is mandatory for attendance.
Gainford is an annual event where Phi Delta Theta Alberta Alpha invites a sorority on campus to "drink a town dry", namely the town of Gainford, Alberta. This is a casual event for active members and gives them a chance to take a much needed break during the school year.
The Phi Delta Theta Formal is an annual event held at various locations in Edmonton where all brothers, active and alumni, are invited to bring a date to a formal evening with dinner as well as an award service. Awards include Senior/Junior Active of the Year, Phikeia's Phi, and the Scottish Phi, among many others. This is, of course, a formal event, and as such a suit is mandatory for attendance (but you wouldn't want to be under-dressed for this anyway).
The 80th Anniversary Gala is an alumni fundraising event that was held in 2010. Brothers both old and new were invited to a formal dinner, hosted by alumni, as well as a silent auction for many exclusive prizes. Such prizes included hockey jerseys, advertisement space, get away trips, and even a "get out of jail free" card. Another event, similar in nature to this one is being held at the River Cree Resort & Casino this year, again hosted by the alumni brothers.

We're continuously looking for new members who share our values of friendship, sound learning, and moral rectitude. Find out more about the benefits and requirements for membership, or contact one of our brothers for more information.
